Southland's Children's Ministry program is a super safe and educational environment, available for newborns through fifth grade. We like to call our Children's Ministry a biblical adventure for children, full of fun and excitement for your kids!
Jesus holds children very close to His heart, and we at Southland Christian Church do so as well. We have an amazing group of volunteers led by our energetic Children's Minister, Carmen Peteron, who is ready to teach your kids through fun and activites about who God really is and how he can be a huge part of their lives even as kids!
Our objective for SCC's Children's Ministry is to train our children in the way they should go (Proverbs 22:6). We believe your children are the future of the church. With God's Word as our highest priority, we have designed the Children's Ministry in such a way that children can learn at their own level and pace.
Our mission is to make disciples (Matthew 4:19) by creating a fun, loving, and interactive environment where children are encouraged to grow in Christ.

Route 14:6 is the current theme for our Sunday morning children's church, formally known as "X-kids." The new theme comes from the scripture John 14:6 where Jesus tells us, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the father, except by me..." Our goal is to get your kids excited by about living a life aimed toward Jesus-- because he is the right WAY to go!
